Since Kansas City only gets a few inches and calls it a storm, I thought the kiddies would like to see what playing in the snow is REALLY like. After 45 minutes of gearing up, we were ready to head out and brave the elements of our back yard. They had so much fun!!! Aaliyah didn't have as much fun as the boys since her little legs weren't long enough to get up over the snow. She kept falling every couple of steps. Tonight we may try to hit the hill at Pinery Park (all you Knapper's know what I'm talking about). That should be interesting!

Note the distress in her eyes. Big brother to the rescue!
And a quick HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Nicki. We won't get all into numbers and stuff, but on behalf of all of us, Happy Birthday to you!

Now this is REAL snow! Mallory gets lost in it too, but the kids love it! I don't know how they can stand it. Thank God for my deck. I can send them out and watch from the window : ) Have a great holiday everyone!
That is a whole lot of snow! Really great pictures by the way. They are all great but the one with Kyle on the bench really gives perspective of how much snow there is. Enjoy your white Christmas!
Girl, I can finally catch up on my blogs. I can't believe that I didn't get to tell Bobby happy birthday!!! Thanks for the birthday wishes. Also, thank you for talking numbers. At least I can't compete with Bobby :) Playing in the snow looks so much fun. We can't play in the snow too much over here since the boys are so small. At least your little one has some bigger ones to learn snow fun from. Colin probably needs another year before he can manuever (I have no idea how to spell that word) the snow.
